The competition area is situated in a protected scenic context, with the plot bordered by the lake on two sides and by urbanized landscapes on the other two. The architectural complex addresses the dichotomy between the lakeside and urban environments, integrating both to accommodate the diverse functions of the barracks. The building is designed to be highly functional yet welcoming. Architecturally, it features volumes that articulate and extend towards the lake, creating a light and dynamic aesthetic, while appearing more compact and defined on the street side to improve functionality and visibility. The design organizes the space around two voids that allow views of the lake from the street, avoiding visual barriers and integrating with the landscape. The external spaces are designed to create defined and functional areas, such as the training plaza and access plaza, which are distinct and organized to facilitate the flow of people and vehicles. The spatial distribution is practical, with separate areas for public access, staff, and emergencies, and a service wing that connects the buildings. The public character of the lakeside area is emphasized by a green corridor that includes a two-lane bike path.
