The project for a new nursery school in Ne is based on three main themes: the shape of the lot, which is small in size and adjacent to the existing elementary school, requiring the new nursery to be closely connected to it; the need to minimize the footprint due to the complex hydrogeological context; and the protected Ligurian landscape, constrained between the mountains and the sea, characterized by dry-stone walls and lush vegetation. The nursery features a wooden roof supported by local stone walls. The main façade, characterized by wooden frames and glazing, allows light to flow freely into the spaces, creating a gradual interplay of light and shadow.
